Pricing & billing
$0.0004 per participant-minute for API and SDK meetings, prepaid, billed per second.
API usage is prepaid. Top up your credit by card in the developer dashboard (Developers → Billing), and it is used as meetings run: $0.0004 per participant-minute, billed per second. Each workspace has its own balance; personal keys have their own.
What is billed
- Everyone's time in a room you created through the API (
POST /rooms). - Time of anyone who joined any of your rooms through an API join link or token.
- Not billed: meetings your team runs in the Deewan app, API requests themselves, webhooks, polls, breakouts and storage.

Top up
Payments are by Visa or Mastercard, in the currency shown at checkout (US dollars unless stated otherwise), through HyperPay, with 3-D Secure. Credit is always added in US dollars; if the card is charged in another currency, the rate is shown before you pay. Card details are entered on HyperPay's form — Deewan never sees your card number. Workspace owners and admins can top up; the payment history and every charge are listed in the same tab.
When credit runs out
New join links and tokens are refused with 402 `insufficient_credit` until you top up. Meetings already running are never cut off; their time is charged when they end, so a balance can dip slightly below zero. The dashboard warns you when credit runs low.
